SC issues directions for revising merit list of candidates in CLAT 2018 as per formula suggested by grievance redressal panel

All India LL.B. Admissions entrance test – CLAT :

SC orders National University of Advance Legal Studies to prepare a revised merit list of law aspiring students who appeared for CLAT2018 after giving compensatory marks to students who faced technical glitches during online exam.

SC makes it clear that first round of counselling, which is going for allotting seats to students on the basis of CLAT2018 , will go on but second round of counselling will be done on the basis of revised merit list.

Around four hundred students are likely to be given compensatory marks on the basis of formula devised by a committee headed by former Kerala HC judge and the revised merit list to be prepared by June 16 as directed by SC

SC says 2nd round of counselling for admission to 19 law varsities to go on from June 16 on the basis of revised list.

SC makes it clear that first round of counselling, which is going for allotting seats to students on the basis of CLAT 2018 , will go on but second round of counselling will be done on the basis of revised merit list.
